Madison Prewett, daughter of Auburn basketball’s director of operations, to star on ‘The Bachelor’

It's been a big year for Madison Prewett. Her dad made the Final Four. And she may have made the final six.

Prewett, daughter of Chad Prewett, Director of Operations for Auburn Basketball, will be among the 33 women vying for the final rose from pilot Pete Weber on the upcoming season of “The Bachelor,” and word on the tweet is that she just might get it.

Reality show insider Reality Steve recently included the 2018 Auburn University graduate in his list of comely contenders who will have at least a one-in-six shot to win Weber’s heart when the show’s 25th season debuts in January. While the predictions of the professional series spoiler have occasionally missed their mark, Prewett’s presence among the latest crop of would-be wives in waiting was made official in September via the “Bachelor” Facebook page, which listed Birmingham as her current residence.

The made-for-TV romance won’t be Prewett’s first fifteen minutes of fame. In April 2018, she joined the peculiarly plentiful ranks of Auburn fans and graduates who have won big on “The Price is Right,” taking home $8,000 by correctly guessing the price of grocery items. She also represented the City of Auburn in the 2014 Miss Alabama Teen USA pageant.

It won't be the first time an Auburn alumna has made a name for herself on the hit ABC show, either.

In 2015, Auburn grad Ashley Salter had "Bachelor" Twitter in hashtag hysterics thanks to wacky weekly antics that earned her the nickname "Onion Girl" and the top spot on E! Online's list of the "14 Craziest Bachelor Contestants Ever."

Salter later insisted that her seemingly bizarre behavior was due mostly to editing and boredom.

The University of Alabama’s Hannah Brown was on The Bachelor and later starred on The Bachelorette before joining the current season of Dancing with the Stars.
