Birmingham Police investigate a stabbing that left the victim, a Hispanic male, with life-threatening injuries.

Birmingham police are investigating a Tuesday night stabbing that left the victim with life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to the CVS at 632 Tuscaloosa Ave. in southwest Birmingham around 7:40 p.m. when they found a Hispanic man who had been stabbed. Authorities said the stabbing did not occur inside or outside the CVS and the location of the incident was still under investigation.

The victim was taken to UAB Hospital, police said.

No suspects were in custody as of 8:20 p.m. as police continued to investigate.
