Alabama on Live PD: Attack squirrel, suspected wedding thief both featured on show

Mickey Paulk denies allegation

Mickey Paulk appeared in a live video--with a squirrel--and denied feeding meth to the now-viral Alabama "attack squirrel"

Two high-profile Alabama cases recently landed on most wanted segments of the popular A&E show “Live PD.”

The show, which features live footage of police responding to calls around the country, included segments on the Alabama “attack squirrel” and a woman suspected of stealing money while posing as a wedding guest.

The squirrel is owned by Mickey Paulk of Limestone County, who remains a fugitive after agents seized drugs from his Athena area home. Paulk has been accusing of keeping an “attack squirrel” that was made aggressive by feeding it methamphetamine. Paulk, 35, denied the allegations in a Facebook video, saying he’s raised the squirrel, named “Deeznutz,” since it was a baby.

The other Alabama-related segment was about a series of thefts during weddings in Florence and surrounding areas. The woman, who is believed to have stolen cash and gift cards left at receptions, has not been identified and the Florence police department is asking for assistance with the case.
