Birmingham woman charged with murder of man in Mobile

A Birmingham woman was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of a man in Mobile.

Angela Johnson-Evans, 22, was booked in to the Mobile Metro Jail around 12:45 a.m., according to jail records. She is accused of shooting 23-year-old Taheed King outside of the Knollwood Apartments in West Mobile Saturday.

King’s body was found outside just before noon. he was pronounced dead at the scene.

While Johnson-Evans’s current address is listed in Birmingham, two Mobile County traffic citations from 2016 appear to suggest that she spent some time in South Alabama, according to court records.
