Two Alabama counties have more than 100 coronavirus deaths.
The Alabama Department of Public Health’s May 31 9:30 a.m. numbers show 116 deaths in Mobile County and 102 in Jefferson County. Tallapoosa County has 64 deaths; Montgomery 40; and Lee 33. You can see county-by-county COVID-19 death totals here.
There have been more than 628 coronoavirus deaths in Alabama, an increase of 18 from yesterday.
Alabama has 17,494 cases of coronavirus, an increase of 463 from yesterday. The largest increases were Jefferson (+66); Montgomery (+57); and Mobile (+50).
