McKee taught first grade at Dodge Elementary School. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Social media posts on McKee’s Facebook page remembered her as “a beautiful soul.” One commenter said McKee “pushed me to get my voice out there you were always my number 1 supporter,” while another said her “sweet soul will be missed by many.”

“She was a beautiful, sweet woman and will be greatly missed. May God bring peace and comfort to all who loved her,” wrote one friend.
