Alabama’s all-star team added an elite pass rusher as an injury replacement.
Jeff Davis defensive lineman Brandon Mack suffered an injury Wednesday, and game officials announced today that Auburn defensive end and Florida commit Mohamoud Diabate has been added to the roster.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Diabate finished 2018 with 68 tackles, 11 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries and 19 tackles for a loss. He’s ranked No. 6 on AL.com’s latest updated A-List.
Diabate practiced with the team for the first time today, getting ready for Monday's Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m., at Montgomery's Cramton Bowl.
Alabama is 5-0 in games played at Cramton Bowl and is trying to bounce back after last year’s 42-7 loss, the Yellowhammer State’s worst loss in the game’s history.
