Naomi Campbell won the internet’s heart when she posted a video of her airplane preparation routine to her YouTube page earlier this month — and it will make anyone feel like the dirtiest person on the face of the earth. Her carry-on is a treasure trove of hydration products and face masks yes, but then out come the rubber gloves, Dettol wipes, and a surgical mask she puts on before wiping down everything around her. We stan a queen who sterilizes.

Over the weekend, Campbell blessed Twitter with a gentle reminder to always take such precautions on an airplane. The model posted an image of her wearing her medical mask and rubber gloves and holding a pack of her beloved Dettol wipes — with racks and racks of bracelets and a GIANT ring to accessorize. Of course, the snap is reaching viral meme status due to its extraness and, oddly, relatability. Put your tttt health first, but make it fashion.
And let's not act like Naomi isn't onto something. After a (nightmare) flight to Chicago from New York this past week, I found myself unable to fly without sanitizing everything on my two flights back home — Campbell’s impact. Yes, I wore a medical mask, rubber gloves, and wiped down everything before settling in on my own new, clean blanket. (After Nicole Byer’s horrific poop-related blanket fiasco last year, Trust. No. Airplane. Blanket.)
You can find Dettol wipes on Amazon, but I suppose you can use for Clorox or Wet Ones, though it’s not the same. As badly as I wanted to flex like Naomi, I had to settle for whatever was around me.
On another note, the countdown to Campbell’s own line of hygiene and disinfecting products begins. I mean, who wouldn't buy hand sanitizer from her? Naomi, call me! Let’s get this branding deal underway.
