South Toms River girl found safe in Manchester

SOUTH TOMS RIVER - A 17-year-old South Toms River girl who was reported missing last week was found in Manchester, South Toms River Police Chief William Kosh said.

Lissette Amaro-Meneses, a student at Toms River High School South, was missing for more than a week after she walked out of school during her lunch period, according to a police report. The teenager suffers from kidney issues and her mother feared she would face health complications if she didn't get treatment, according to the report.

Kosh said the girl has been located and was safe.
