Michelle Branch is officially a newlywed! The singer and the Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday, April 20. Luckily for fans, she and other guests shared some photos of the big day, revealing the decor details and stunning setting. Her venue of choice? The historic Marigny Opera House in New Orleans.

Designed by French architect Theodore Giraud, the former church was originally built in 1853. It has since been converted into a performing arts space, but still retains much of its original charm. The plastered brick building was designed in the Romanesque style and features twin towers and large domes. Arches dominate the space throughout, allowing plenty of natural light to flood in and highlight the beautiful interiors.

Branch and Carney said their vows on the first level, which has a red-and-black checkered floor, flying buttresses, and a wooden balcony. Guests filled the nave and side aisles, which were lined with candelabras and greenery. The couple also had white piping at the altar that highlighted what appeared to be stained-glass windows.

Keeping with the rustic vibe of the day, the “All You Wanted” songstress donned a semi-off-the-shoulder Temperley London gown and wore her hair down in beachy waves. As she walked down the aisle holding a bouquet that appeared as though it had been plucked straight from a garden, Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” played in the background.

The bride also shared a photo of herself and the groom posing outside of the venue along a partially plastered redbrick wall. “What a dream,” wrote Branch. “Thank you to all of our incredible friends and family for helping us celebrate.”

Marigny Opera House was also the setting for Solange Knowles' 2014 wedding to video director Alan Ferguson.
