A capsule collection of textile and furniture designs debuts today from Soho Home, Soho House’s home furnishings brand, in collaboration with Pierre Frey. The collection consists of a curation of Soho Home’s existing furniture and textile silhouettes, featuring Le Manach fabrics by the French company.
Soho Home’s Siobahn Farley, who was the creative lead on the partnership, tells AD PRO of the line’s origins. “We knew we wanted to collaborate with a local artisan or designer with whom we’ve worked when designing our houses,” she says. “We’ve worked with Pierre Frey over the years and have used their fabrics in several houses, so it was a natural fit. This year also seemed to be the right year, given we are opening a house in Paris.” While the opening of that new outpost is delayed due to COVID-19, the capsule featuring cushions, rugs, lamps, throws, chairs, and other pieces went live this morning.
“Both brands are passionate about history, quality, and colors,” says Pierre Frey, communications director of the fabric brand. “They also both get inspired by the past and by archives to design patterns or rooms that are contemporary and timeless. We believe this partnership is very true to their DNA.”
