9 Sioux Falls-area companies named to Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing firms

Nine companies in the Sioux Falls area have been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies.

The list, released Wednesday, includes 13 total South Dakota companies.

Beautique in Brandon was the highest-placed local business on the list. Other local firms named include:Prairie Tickets, OmegaQuant, MarketBeat, Fit My Feet Orthotic Lab and Shoes, Weisser Distributing, Sioux Falls Tower Specialists (now called VIKOR Teleconstruction, Expansion Capital Group and Vance Thompson Vision.

Inc. magazine produces the list annually, calculating the rankings by examining the percentage revenue growth of each company over a three-year period.
