Police investigate early morning gunshots in northern Sioux Falls

Police are investigating several gunshots reported in northern Sioux Falls early Tuesday morning, said police spokesman Sam Clemens.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of First Street and Blauvelt Avenue just after midnight on Tuesday, Clemens said.

Eight shell casings were found at the scene, but there was no reported damage, he said.

Police are investigating the incident.
