Police search for suspect in western Sioux Falls shooting

Police are searching for a suspect after an apartment building in western Sioux Falls was shot early Tuesday morning, police spokesman Sam Clemens said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 3:15 a.m. in the 8100 block of West Lobelia Street, Clemens said. The person shot at the building at least five times, leaving bullet holes in the facade of the apartments.

A person who was sleeping in a room where some of the bullets were shot was not injured, Clemens said.

Officers "don't have much of a description" of the suspect vehicle, Clemens said.
