Here's how much snow fell in South Dakota on Tuesday

Snow is rolling into South Dakota on Tuesday night as a portion of southeastern South Dakota is under a winter storm warning through Wednesday morning.

While Sioux Falls held off on the snow until Tuesday evening because of a "snow hole," according to the National Weather Service, the metro area could see up to 4 inches overnight.

Wednesday: Patchy blowing snow before 9 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 29. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph decreasing to 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
