A Little Rock man was shot in the back early Saturday as he was throwing out trash from a car, police said.
The Little Rock Police Department said the man was shot at a car wash near West 36th Street and Colonel Glenn Road. But neither police nor the man could tell exactly where the gunfire came from, according to a police report.
The man told police he was throwing garbage away when he heard gunfire in the distance, the report said.
A friend later noticed the victim was bleeding and brought the man to a hospital.
The report said the injuries weren’t life-threatening.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. The report didn’t list a description of the gunman or a suspected motive.
