Three people were found dead Thursday afternoon at a Little Rock home, and authorities were interviewing a "person of interest" in the deaths.

Officers responded to a neighbor's call around 2 p.m. in the 4600 block of West 16th Street. Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Michael Ford said police found the bodies of three female victims at the home.

Their identities and ages weren’t immediately known.

Ford said investigators weren’t sure if the neighbor had heard a gunshot before calling 911.

He said police were interviewing a man he called a "person of interest” in the case.

The suspected killings would bring the number of homicides in Little Rock to 21 so far this year.
