Details: Among the many Easter egg hunts taking place this weekend in metro Atlanta is this adorably-named one at Callanwolde, which features separate hunts for kids of different ages (1-2-year-olds, 3-5-year-olds, 6-8-year-olds, and 9-11-year-olds) along with face painting, crafts, a kids’ dance floor, and the Easter Bunny himself.

SweetWater 420 Fest
Where: Centennial Olympic Park

Price: Single-day GA wristbands: $85; weekend GA wristbands: $160
Details: The brewery’s annual music festival celebrates its 15th anniversary this year with performances from Widespread Panic, the Avett Brothers, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and more. Saturday morning kicks off with the annual 5k race, while the rest of the weekend features an artists market, sustainability workshops, and copious amounts of SweetWater beer.
Munchies Pop-Up
Where: Root Baking Co. at Ponce City Market
When: April 20, 6 p.m.
Price: Varies; the pop-up features an a la carte menu
Details: Keeping with the 4/20 theme, Korean Fusion chef Seung Hee Lee and Sandwiches + Supper’s Neal Bukiet will host a pop-up themed around favorite snacks, but with Lee’s signature Korean fusion twist. Think Frito pies, kimchi bacon mac and cheese, spam musubi, and more. There will also be natural wines available.

Where: Barnes & Noble at Emory

Details: The Real Queer America author—whose book we excerpted in our March issue—returns to her alma mater (Allen has a PhD in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies) to read from and sign copies of the nonfiction book, in which Allen takes a six-week road trip documenting LGBTQ culture in the South.
Colin Mochrie Weekend

Details: The Whose Line is it Anyway improver and perennial Dad’s Garage favorite returns to the comedy theater for four 90-minute shows. Expect absurdity.
