North Augusta should erect something, some sturdy sign in the meantime, that notes the truth to go right beside the falsehoods on that Meriwether monument before the white supremacists gather to record what they will exclaim as the truth for racists to follow by. The same goes for the Confederate monument right on the center of Broad St. Some sign needs to be besides the lie of words on the side of that monument. It's not right to permit falsehoods to just sit there in public with no corrections at all.
Much light and love to the Bush family for our loss of a great man. And how wonderful the family is as giving as G.H.W. Bush to allow Sully to go on to serve another veteran.
I'm reminded once again of the stupidity or deviousness of Democrats who say identification is not needed to vote. The James Brown Toy Giveaway requires: a valid state ID AND a birth certificate and a Social Security card – plus the child must be present.
Sure, let's spend a bundle on consultants to heavily-advertise the Augusta Bus Service and the James Brown Arena. Richmond County taxpayers, who already pay to keep those non-profitable, heavily-subsidized and non-performing assets, aka government operations, propped up, can afford it.
