Man arrested for child molestation

An Augusta man was arrested Monday for alleged child molestation.

Kendrick Dixon, 38, was charged with non-aggravated child molestation. According to an arrest warrant, Dixon placed his hands inside a 12-year-old girl's clothing and rubbed her.

According to the incident report, Dixon has inappropriately touched the girl over the past several months. Dixon was staying at the child's home, but has no kinship to her.

Dixon is being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
