A woman could lose vision in one of her eyes from a fight outside a club in downtown Augusta earlier this month.

Deputies responded to a call about a fight behind The Scene nightclub on Broad Street about 3 a.m. Aug. 3, according to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office incident report.

The victim told deputies she was attacked by two women. She said she was punched several times in the face and head and believes a man kicked her in the face.

Deputies saw a laceration under her left eye and one above her left eyebrow. A witness told deputies that he saw the victim and one of the two women get into an argument inside the club and that both of the alleged assailants were trying to start a fight with her.

Two witnesses said the victim jumped over a handrail and began to fight the two women before a man slammed her to the ground and began kicking her, according to the report. Deputies were told the victim had a broken orbital socket and could lose sight in her left eye.

No arrests have been made. The victim's family is offering a $2,000 reward for any video footage of the attack that will help identify and convict those involved.
