Outlook: The Lions are returning a lot of experience at the skill positions on offense, including a three-year starter at quarterback. Defense was the Achilles’ heel for this team a year ago in a tough region. Expect those numbers to improve this season, especially if the offense is able to hold onto the ball and eat more clock.
