An Augusta woman who allegedly attacked a school bus driver in front of children was indicted Tuesday on multiple charges.

The Richmond County grand jury returned an indictment against Turkessa J. Wilkerson of the 2400 block of Baywood Drive that accuses her of two counts of battery, terroristic threats, disrupting public school, cruelty to children in the third degree, and two counts of disorderly conduct.

According to the indictment, on Aug. 13 Wilkerson allegedly pulled the driver of bus 536 from the vehicle, pushed her and pulled her hair, and used abusive language in threatening to beat her on Tate Road in front of children.
