Five arrested after drug warrant executed in North Augusta

Five people were arrested Tuesday in North Augusta after a narcotics search warrant was executed by North Augusta Public Safety and the agency's SWAT team.

According to the department, Raymond Evangelista, Jerry Bennett, Donny Grammer, James Grigg, Keith Shackleford were arrested. Bennett, Grigg and Shackleford are charged with possession of methamphetamine, Grammer faces possession with intent to distribute meth charges and Evangelista is being held for Dallas County Sheriff's Department in Texas.

The warrant was executed in the 600 block of Burnside Avenue and the investigation is ongoing.

All five are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
