Two Augusta men arrested, charged with child molestation

Two Augusta men were arrested Wednesday on multiple child molestation charges.

Montrell Jaheem Ellison, 19, was charged with three counts of aggravated child molestation, one count of non-aggravated child molestation and one count of computer or electronic pornography and child exploitation prevention. Brandon Tyrell Smith, 17, was charged with one count of aggravated child molestation and one count of computer or electronic pornography and child exploitation prevention.

According to arrest warrants, both had sex with a 14-year-old girl at a residence on of Richmond Hill Road.

Ellison was arrested in April and charged with robbery by force after beating a victim and stealing a pair of Van’s shoes and a Nike jacket near the 500 block of East Boundary.

Both are being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
