In North Augusta, Rome rallied past the Augusta 7-4 at SRP Park on Thursday night, ending the GreenJackets' five-game winning streak.

The Braves trailed 4-0 after the first inning but kept chipping away, eventually going ahead with three runs in the eighth inning.

The GreenJackets, who were led by Andres Angulo's two-run double, never scored again after the first inning.

The loss dropped Augusta out of first place in the southern division of the South Atlantic League after Charleston beat Greenville 10-0 earlier on Thursday.
