A coffee shop and bar are coming soon to this boutique hotel in Phoenix. Here's what to know

Arrive Phoenix, a new boutique hotel in uptown Phoenix located at Fourth Avenue and Camelback Road, opens for business on Labor Day weekend. 

Beginning Friday, Sept. 4, the 79-room hotel will welcome guests to stay in the two newly restored mid-century modern towers. Visitors and guests will also be able to grab a homemade frozen treat at the Pop Stand, which also serves as the hotel's registration desk. The Cartel Coffee Lab and the poolside bar, Lylo Swim Club will both open the same day.

The rooftop bar, Don Woods' Say When, will be open to the public during the second phase of the hotel opening on Nov. 15.

Arrive Phoenix is the brand's fifth location in the country. 

Here's when Arrive Phoenix hotel opens?

The hotel will host Tempe-based Cartel Coffee Lab's first central Phoenix location. This is Cartel's third store at an Arrive property, with others at Arrive Austin and Arrive Palm Springs.

Lylo Swim Club, the poolside bar, will serve an all-day menu of Hawaiian-Japanese food created by chef Alex Resnick and a craft cocktail menu by Ross Simon, owner of the award-winning cocktail bar Bitter and Twisted and co-owner of Little Rituals in downtown Phoenix.

The 15-item drink list will feature beer, wine and cocktails. As far as cocktails, customers can look forward to a spiked Dole Whip frozen pineapple drink and other rum-based drinks. 

"If you have to pick one (spirit) that screams swimming pool, it's got to be rum," Simon told The Arizona Republic last year.

Don Woods' Say When, Arrive Phoenix's 1960s and 70s-themed penthouse bar with sweeping city views, will open Nov. 15. The bar, named after a real estate developer who used to have an office in the building, will feature "retro-modern" cocktails and a throwback menu of fondue and shrimp cocktail when it opens this fall.
