Tour dates announced after Coachella

Variety wrote, “Her debut's sexy, smart, scuffed-up R&B establishes Lizzo as an immediate star.” Esquire said the album adds "another bullet point on her already spectacular resume," and that, "Lizzo can sing. Boy, can she sing. Her rich, raw vocal is on display all across the LP.”

She earned further acclaim at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

The moments that made Coachella 2019: From Lizzo to Billie Eilish to BLACKPINK

The Desert Sun responded with, "The word I keep coming back to with Lizzo is 'undeniable.' Her voice can't be denied. Her energy can't be denied. And her ability to make you get up and dance can't be denied. She showcased all that and more in her Coachella Weekend 2 set on Sunday."

In its review of Lizzo at Coachella, Consequence of Sound noted, “Lizzo has quickly cemented herself as one of 2019’s preeminent pop figures."
