Police are asking the public to help identify and locate a man suspected of robbing a Boost Mobile cellphone store at gunpoint on Jan. 26.

Officials say the man visited the store, at 3297 E. McDowell Road, around 11:45 a.m. while carrying a black handgun. He took money from the cash register and forced an employee to take him to a back room, where he took 12 iPhones before fleeing in a black Dodge Caliber, police say.

Officers describe the suspect as a 19-year-old man who is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue hoodie, green pants, black-and-white Nike shoes, and a multicolored backpack during the robbery, police say.
