Dozens of helpers were on hand at Arizona State University’s downtown Phoenix campus Friday as swarms of students moved in to their dorms.

Approximately 1,700 students will move to the campus prior to the fall semester, ASU spokesperson Meenah Rincon said.

Estimated move-in time per student at the downtown Phoenix campus was 20 minutes, according to the ASU website.

Students on the university's main campus in Tempe are scheduled to move in Saturday and Sunday. Approximately 12,300 students will move in this weekend, Rincon said.

Classes begin on Aug. 22.
