Body found in Phoenix canal near 59th Avenue and Osborn Road

A body was found floating in the canal in Phoenix near 59th Avenue and Osborn Road Saturday morning, officials said.

Phoenix Fire Department crews and police were working to retrieve the body from the canal shortly before 7 a.m., according to a Phoenix fire spokesman.
