One of the several Arizona Wildcats who have left the football team since last season ended has found a new home.

Isaiah Hayes, a safety who was with the program for three seasons, announced Friday on Twitter that he was headed to Louisville:

Hayes announced his intention to transfer in early March, at the time noting his intention to graduate in May so that he could play immediately elsewhere. Assuming that is still the plan, Hayes would have two years of eligibility with the Cardinals.

A member of Arizona’s 2016 recruiting class, Hayes appeared in 16 games including 11 as a true freshman. This past season, as a redshirt sophomore, he played in five games and recorded 20 tackles with a forced fumble.

Other players who have left the Wildcats since last season and have found their new programs include offensive linemen Nathan Eldridge (Oregon State) and Michael Eletise (Hawaii), defensive lineman Kurtis Brown (Fresno State) and defensive back Antonio Parks (UTSA).
