Lamar Jackson followed through on getting together with his teammates for an off-site workout before training camp begins.

Jackson met up with wide receivers Willie Snead IV and Chris Moore, as well as backup quarterback Robert Griffin III, this week.

Snead and Moore are poised to be Jackson's starting wideouts this season. Another key piece, first-round rookie Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, is continuing his rehab at the Under Armour Performance Center in preparation for his anticipated training camp debut.

Snead's father, Willie Snead III, was also at the off-site workout. He's a football (and financial) coach and former NFL wide receiver who was a 12th-round pick of the New York Jets in 1989.

As minicamp ended last month, Jackson volunteered that he was going to get his "guys" together in July, either in his home state of Florida or Maryland. "We're just going to try to get better, keep it going," he said.

Asked how he would go about coordinating the throw-around, Jackson chuckled about how easy it would be. "Group text," he said.

It's unclear how many days the group has, or plans to, work out, but anything is a positive. Snead was also with Jackson at his “Fun Day With LJ” kids camp held in Pompano Beach, Fla., over the weekend, so the two have spent time doing some extra bonding during the break.

As minicamp ended, Head Coach John Harbaugh said off-site training with teammates is "very valuable work."

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson went home to Pompano Beach, Fla., to spend a day with kids.
