Baltimore County police asked for the public’s help on Monday to identify a woman whose body was discovered near Loch Raven Reservoir on May 29.
Her death has been ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, police said.
The body, believed to be an adult Hispanic woman, was found just before 10 a.m. Friday by a person walking along Merryman’s Trail in the woods off Pot Spring Road near Colonade Road in Cockeysville, according to Baltimore County police.
The person saw the body on the edge of a stream at the bottom of a slope. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by police.
On Monday, police released photos of the victim’s tattoos — an alien on the top of her left forearm, the initials “J.G.” on her left wrist, a broken heart with two vertical lines running through it, and “XXVIII.III.MCMLVIII” on the inside of her right forearm — and have asked anyone who recognizes the tattoos to report to the police.
The victim was wearing a dark gray shirt with a caricature of a bear on it when she was found, police said.
