Bayern Munich have submitted a bid to Chievo Verona for 18-year-old right winger Emanuel Vignato, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia.

Vignato will be turning 19 in a few days and managed to make 12 appearances in Serie A for Chievo last season. His most notable moment was scoring a goal against Lazio in a 2-1 win at the Stadio Olimpico.

Talks between Bayern and Chievo have reportedly been going on for a while now, with the German giants making an official offer to the Serie B side; however, said offer was deemed not convincing enough by Chievo. The deal between the two club does not involve Emanuel’s brother, Samuele Vignato, which has proven to be an issue. Born in 2004, Samuele Vignato is a striker who currently plays for Chievo’s academy team.

The older brother — that being Emanuel — is currently on the radar of several Serie A clubs such as Sampdoria, AC Milan, and Lazio. It is worth noting, however, that each of the aforementioned teams are willing to take on Vignato’s younger brother.
