Staff at the 16th Century building have been recognised for the outstanding experience they offer to visitors, highlighting their enthusiasm for effective storytelling.
Visit Lincoln chief executive officer, Lydia Rusling, said: "Lincoln Guildhall has been attracting visitors for almost a century...The award acknowledges the work of the staff who ensure all who pass through its doors have a truly memorable experience."
'No-one at risk' after Sleaford council staff threatened
Lincolnshire Police has confirmed officers have been dealing with an incident at the offices of North Kesteven District Council in Sleaford this afternoon.

It's understood a man made threats over the telephone to hurt himself and others.
Police were sent to the building when the man turned up at the council offices.
A police spokeswoman says: "We have concluded our initial investigations and we do not believe anyone to be at risk of harm.
"There were no specific threats to an individual, just general threats. No arrests or charges were made."
Staff threats spark council office closure in Sleaford
North Kesteven District Council has confirmed it's closed its reception in Sleaford as a precaution after receiving threats from an individual against members of staff.
The police are aware and responding, according to a council spokesman.
It added: "This
proportional measure has been taken to ensure the safety of our staff and the
public.
"In the meantime customers can still contact the council and
carry out business on the phone and via the website."

Parkour playground for Lincolnshire school children
Christmas has come early for daredevil parkour fans in Spilsby.
Woodlands Academy, a specialist secondary school for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, has officially opened its new parkour circuit.
Parkour, or free running, involves running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping and rolling.
The school's executive headteacher, Chris Armond, says the children have had a great day learning new skills in a safe environment.
Mr Armond added: "I've had a go and I'm now lying down in the medical room.":
Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was attacked in broad daylight in Grantham.

The 15-year-old was hit in the face by a man wearing a balaclava, between Dysart Road and The Drive, at about 15:15 on Monday 11 March.
The attacker is described as white, slim and was wearing a khaki green tracksuit and Nike trainers.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
Young mum cleared of causing death of elderly pedestrian
A young mum from Lincoln who ran over an elderly man as she reversed out of her drive has been cleared of causing death by careless driving.

Sian Phelps, 25, of Lincoln Road in North Hykeham, near Lincoln, broke down in tears after a jury at Lincoln Crown Court took less than an hour to reach a not guilty verdict.
Previousy, the jury had heard how Miss Phelps checked her mirrors and looked both ways before reversing.
She didn't realise she had hit 89-year-old Donald Sharpe and driven over him as he lay on the pavement, the court was told.
Miss Phelps told the court that when she realised she'd knocked him over she screamed and ran to help.
As Mr Sharpe lay on the ground, he told her not to cry and to keep calm.
Mr Sharpe died in hospital six days later, on Christmas Day 2017.
Miss Phelps had denied causing death by driving without due care and attention.
