A "viable device" has been found during a security alert in Dunmurry, on the outskirts of west Belfast.
Army bomb experts were called to the scene on Monday morning to examine a suspicious object in an alleyway in the Old Colin area.
Pantridge Road, Stewartstown Road and Upper Dunmurry Lane were closed to the Michael Ferguson roundabout for several hours, but have since reopened.
Police have appealed for information about the incident.
