The sun rising over the beautiful ruins of Elgin Cathedral. Stephen Leitch says it was known as the lantern of the north in its pre-Reformation days.
David Majsterek took last weekend while out a walk. It is the golf course in North Berwick, looking towards the Bass Rock, with some oyster catchers running about the greens.

David Wilkinson was visiting Dundee on Monday and captured this unusual angle of the Tay Road Bridge from a position at the top of Dundee Law.

Marcos Monteferrante says he left Venezuela 11 years ago fell in love with Scotland. He lives in Aberdeen but loves to visit Edinburgh. "This time I managed to take a snapshot of the fire of the cannon at 1 o’clock," he said.

William Hardie, from San Carlos in California, went to Murrayfield to watch Scotland play Ireland. He captured this scene at the Murrayfield stadium bar. "I thought the only scrums were on the pitch," he said.
Fraser Gallacher took this photo of Loch Morlich thawing out after a spell of cold weather this week. "The effects were stunning on a very windy morning," he said.

There were lots of photo of snowdrops this week. This was the only one which incorporated Valentine's Day. Debbie Hindle and Lesley Morrison took this at their community garden in Kelvingrove Square in Glasgow.
"I was heading up a mountain to the north of Loch Leven, but the view south over the water towards the Ballachulish horseshoe ridge was what caught the eye," says Chris Murray.
