Child hurt in Dundee crash taken to hospital

The crash happened on Charleston Drive in Dundee
A schoolboy has suffered serious leg injuries after being struck by a van in Dundee.
The 11-year-old pedestrian was hurt in the accident on Charleston Drive, near Etive Gardens, at about 15:30.
Police said the child was taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance. The driver of the Ford van which was involved in the collision was not injured.
Officers have appealed for information from witnesses to the crash.
