Thunderstorms bringing torrential rain could lead to flooding and travel disruption, forecasters have warned.

The east of Wales could be affected by the band of weather due to move in from midnight on Monday.

There is a small chance properties could flood quickly or be damaged by lightning, hail or strong winds, the Met Office said.

The weather warning will remain in place across Wales until midnight Tuesday.

Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Monmouthshire, Powys and Wrexham are all due to be affected.
