Durham wrapped up a crushing victory over Glamorgan by an innings and 30 runs on day three in Cardiff.
Resuming on 79-7, Glamorgan were dismissed for 111 inside 8.2 overs with paceman Chris Rushworth (5-28) claiming the last three wickets.
It was a welcome win for Durham after three Championship defeats, while Glamorgan have now lost six matches of their last seven.
In the process, Durham won in Wales for the first time since 1995.
Both innings represented new low scores for Glamorgan against the visitors.
Durham bowler Chris Rushworth told BBC Newcastle:
"It's nice to come back and get things wrapped up early, we've been in a strong position in this game from the off, which hasn't been the case throughout this season so it's nice to win convincingly, and to be the one who finished it off was a good result.
"The conditions have suited the bowlers throughout the game, and to have first crack with the ball on day one put us in that strong position,
"If the club want to go forward and the guys in the changing room want to improve, we have to be beating teams in a similar situation to us, and we want to be as close to the top of the league as possible."
Glamorgan captain Michael Hogan told BBC Sport Wales:
"Conditions for batting weren't ideal through the whole game, but it's another one of those days.
"We need to try to give (young batsmen) the best opportunity, we'll turn up to practice on Thursday and try to have a bit of fun, but we're not in a great position and it's not a fun time for the club in general.
"Particularly in conditions like these which are tricky at the best of times, some young boys finding their feet in the game, it's a tough ask against a quality bowler like Chris Rushworth. It's experience for the boys but ideally it would be a better scenario if we had some senior guys there."
