Charlie Wakefield: Coventry City sign winger, plus Reading's David Meyler on loan

Coventry City have signed winger Charlie Wakefield following his release by Premier League Chelsea, as well as Reading's David Meyler on loan.
Wakefield, 20, has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Sky Blues, who are 11th in League One.
Republic of Ireland midfielder Meyler, 29, joins until the end of the season.
"[Charlie] is a player with great technical ability, a lot of pace, and will really add to our squad," manager Mark Robins told the club website.
"We look forward to working with him, as he is a player who also has great potential to improve even further."
On Meyler, Robins added: "We are delighted to add a player of David's pedigree to the squad until the end of the season."
