Burnley: What a difference a year makes
PACopyright: PA
They had 22 points after 12 games last season - 22 points!
It must be a little disheartening to see the table at the moment if you're a Burnley fan.
There was a bit of respite from the losing streak with that draw against Leicester before the break.
But will the slump continue at Turf Moor later?
"We know where the team is statistically and we know that still needs
adjusting but, for the last number of weeks, we are showing signs of getting
back to where we want to be. We know we still need to do more on the offensive
side," said manager Sean Dyche.
At least there is optimism.
More Monday night blues for the Magpies?

Newcastle are looking for their third (THIRD) win on the spin, however they are rubbish on a Monday.
They suffered a 1-0 loss at Turf Moor last season in what was one of the worst games of football (minor exaggeration) ever produced, which was... on a Monday.
In total Newcastle have lost 10 successive league games played on a Monday evening.
"You go there and how many of these players were playing the first game when they lost?
"How many of the Burnley players were playing? Was the league the same or was it different? The numbers change every year, so it’s good for writing something, but it doesn’t change too much."
It's tight at the bottom
Burnley v Newcastle (20:00 GMT)
One saving grace for Mark Hughes, is that his side are a win away from being sixth in the table, or something.
It's incredibly tight at the bottom with seven teams within two points of each other.
That leads us nicely on to Monday's match between Newcastle (15th with nine points) at Burnley (17th with nine points).
Thoughts from Clarets boss Sean Dyche and Magpies gaffer Rafa Benitez in a bit.
Are Southampton in trouble?
#bbcfootball
Shaiano: Not sure what Southampton expected with Hughes. Sacked from Stoke for hovering near the relegation zone. Won't do anything more than that at Southampton. Baffles me why he keeps getting hired, think he's still bitter at being sacked from City!
'Hughes looked like a man walking closer to the precipice'

Our chief football writer Phil McNulty has had his say on the latest helping of turmoil at St Mary's.
Here's a snippet:
"Southampton have just eight points from 13 games, the same as Cardiff City and Fulham just below them in the relegation places.
"And the jeopardy for Hughes is Southampton show no sign of getting the points they need. Even if they are playing as well as he suggests, the Saints board were accused of leaving it too late - almost fatally so - before making a managerial change last season."
Manchester City have lost just eight of their 77 games since the start of last season; three of which came in a week when a home loss to Manchester United was sandwiched between back-to-back Champions League defeats.
Surprisingly one of the others, the only one this season, came against tomorrow’s opponents Lyon on Matchday One of the Champions League.
A repeat is not expected tomorrow, with City overwhelming favourites to get the draw they need to secure a knockout berth with a game to spare.
Pep Guardiola will attend a press conference in France later. His players are doing their final training session here in Manchester.

Hughes: 'I've gone through these periods before'
Here is Hughes, who has only won three league games since his appointment in March. about the speculation surrounding his future at the Saints:
"There's always questions, there's always noise.
"There's always an opportunity for people to question your position or your
work.
"You have to accept that. If results aren't what you want them to be, people
get frustrated.
"At times it's a little bit unfair, because sometimes people smell blood and
go after it and chase it and paint the situation in a different light than it
actually is.
"It doesn't faze me. I've gone through these periods before. You just get on
with it and get on with your job to the best of your ability."
How much time has Hughes got?

You shouldn't read into odds, but I will for the purpose of this final section of this Premier League review which will look at the relegation candidates.
Southampton boss Mark Hughes is odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
Their 3-2 loss to Fulham was the Saints' fifth defeat in eight games. They haven't won a league game since 1 September - their only win to date!
Are Man Utd heading for their worst finish?
#bbcfootball
Average Dan: I can handle United being lower in the table, but only if we’re playing better football, buying good young players, being positive in interviews & celebrating goals rather than new sponsorship deals.
Changing Jose alone won’t solve the issues
Are Man Utd heading for their worst finish?
Billy Whizz: mourinho must shoulder some of the blame but players must also take a share. Even if you hate manager & tactics surely as a player you play to your best for your own pride...this lot doesn't.
You didn't cap up the 'M' in Mourinho, and it was the start of the sentence. See my opening entry.

Enough of this doom and gloom - although we'll be back on that in a bit.
Here's a quiz for Monday:
Can you name players with the best penalty conversion rates in the Premier League?
Ethan Carter IV: Mourinho’s idea of a perfect season is 38 played, 38 wins, 38 goals scored, 0 conceded, 35% possession, 95% Matic pass back to defender accuracy.
Ferdinand: 'Mourinho wasn't right in making those comments'
Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand was critical of Mourinho's comments about his players (see 09:34 GMT entry).
This is what Ferdinand told BT Sport:
"When you get comments where he's hammering four or five of the young players at the club, saying their mentality isn't right, what do you expect?
"Do you expect to have players on your side or do you expect your players to go 'hold on a minute, my manager is hammering me in public again'?
"I just don’t think it’s right for a football manager to be doing that. I don't think you’re going to get productivity out of those kind of comments. I don't think it’s proactive for the club."

This stats piece shows how Manchester United are a fading attacking force since Sir Alex Ferguson left the seat.
It shows that Saturday's result was the club's 65th 0-0 draw in the 26 seasons of the Premier League.
And 20 of those draws - 31% - have come in the six seasons since Ferguson left.
That is six more than any of their 'big six' rivals over the same period.
Here's ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince on his former team's current woes.

Asadur Rahman: Wouldn’t right off Manchester United just yet. Not even half way through the season. Possibility of top four is bleak but still possible. Confidence within the team is at a low, once that’s changed points would build up, no doubt.
