  1. That's all folks

    Down 3-13 Armagh 2-17

Wow. I need a lie down after all that today. That was an incredible match and you can read all about in Michael Morrow's report here.

Video reaction is already up on our website and there is more to follow so why don't you head in that direction now.

In the meantime, thanks for your company once again. Congratulations to Armagh and we'll forward to next weekend's two remaining quarter-finals as Antrim face Tyrone in Armagh on Saturday evening with Fermanagh taking on defending provincial champions Donegal on Sunday.

Both those games are live on BBC Two Northern Ireland next weekend.

  2. Tally 'bitterly disappointed' by Down defeat

    Down 3-13 Armagh 2-17

Down manager Paddy Tally is left "bitterly disappointed" by his side's defeat and suggests that a lot of similar tackles to the one which led to Caolan Mooney's sending off were not punished to the same extent by referee Anthony Nolan.

"Our lads are hurting in there. They gave everything in a very challenging game. They had to take a few setbacks there and still kept going to the very end. You can't ask for much more.

"Small things went against us. We made poor decisions at times. I never doubted the effort and commitment of these lads and today they proved it again.

"I don't know [about the Caolan Mooney sending off incident]. It happened very, very quickly. It looked like a bad tackle but there seemed to be a lot of very similar tackles throughout the game and there was only yellow cards given.

"I'll have to review it again but I thought it had a massive bearing on the game. To lose a player like Caolan was tough but the boys overcame that.

"It came down to that goal at the end where the ball was flicked in [by Andrew Murnin] and the goalkeeper couldn't get to it.

"That gave Armagh that wee platform with them going four ahead even though we got that goal right at the end. We needed the last kickout and we couldn't get it."
