It has to be said, France were excellent tonight. Can they do it consistently enough to challenge at the World Cup? They've showed it in the past for sure. 2011 springs to mind when they were unfancied but came within a point of winning the final against New Zealand in their own back yard.

The French almost add a sixth try. Louis Picamoles trucks it up and gets an offload away. Gael Fickou strides towards the line but is chopped down by Rory Hutchinson, and the attempted offload is knocked on by Raka on the right-wing.

Scotland finally show a bit of attacking verve. Rory Hutchinson gathers his own kick and it goes wide to Byron McGuigan, but the winger's basketball-style offload goes forward.
