Scotland warmed up for the Women's Six Nations with an emphatic six-try win over Spain in Almeria.

Hannah Smith led the way with two first-half tries, while debutants Leah Bartlett and Molly Wright also touched down for the visitors.

Wingers Megan Gaffney and Rhona Lloyd added the other scores.

Scotland raced into a 12-0 lead but two Spanish tries levelled the game before the superior fitness and technique of Philip Doyle's side shone through.

The Scots kick off their Six Nations campaign away to Ireland on 2 February, looking to improve on their five defeats in the tournament last year.
