After a pretty dull and wet week, today marks the start of a pleasant spell.

For Friday, the Met Office said it will be dry and warm.

They added: "A dry day to come across all parts. Some bright or sunny intervals developing but still quite cloudy at times. Feeling quite warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 20C."

And even better - it's to be the same for the next couple of days.

The Met Office said: "Mainly dry weekend with sunny periods for most areas, perhaps more cloud and some rain in the west Saturday. Light winds and feeling pleasantly warm. Fair weather continuing on Monday."
