A man has died following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in the Bangor area last month.

Police confirmed 40-year-old Kenny Wharton, who was originally from the Bangor area, sadly lost his life yesterday following the crash on the Green Road, Conlig.

A PSNI spokesperson added: “Shortly before 7:30pm on Sunday 24th May, it was reported that a grey Vauxhall Insignia and a silver coloured Vauxhall Zafira were involved in the incident at the junction of Rowanvale and Six Road Ends.

“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.
