It's that time of year again - Belfast's Culture Night is back and there's a host of brilliant events to enjoy.

Now in its 10th year, Culture Night is one of the biggest nights in Belfast’s cultural calendar and has grown from attracting 6,000 people to a record 115,000 expected this year.

This year it is expanding to the waterfront development at City Quays after principal corporate sponsor Belfast Harbour said they would make the area available as a venue.

We have been busy pouring over the packed programme and we have picked out some of the top events happening on Friday.

Top events not to miss at Belfast's Culture Night:

1. Dare to Dream in Bank Square 8pm to 9pm

Check out Daydreamnation - the next big thing in the NI music scene.

2. Street Ceili on Fountain Street 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Join the South Belfast Irish Dancing for Adults for a street ceili - just dance!

3. Board Games and Banter at Cafe Nero on Fountain Street 1pm to 5pm

Head down to Cafe Nero and join the British Heart Foundation for some board games fun - fun and games that will do your heart good.

4. Yoga at City Hall 1pm to 2pm

Join Flow Studio for some free yoga practice on the lawn of the City Hall.

5. Tap World Record Attempt at The Europa Hotel 6pm-7.30pm

Bank of Ireland UK is calling for volunteers from across Northern Ireland to join in and tap their way into the world record books this Culture Night.

Bank of Ireland UK is working with Visa to help people visiting this year’s event to easily make fast, simple and secure contactless payments at festivities across Belfast city centre – just look out for the contactless symbol and tap, pay and go for purchases under £30.

6. Better Bedford Street project

Bedford Street will host a live music event as part of the Better Bedford Street project which aims to transform it from a ‘go-through’ area to a ‘go-to’ area.

7. Scented Poetry at Lush 12pm to 5pm

Head to lush near Victoria Square to hear local poets pair poems with lush perfumes.

8. Grand Opera House Summer Youth Spectacular 7pm to 7.30pm

Head to Victoria Square and catch the cast of the Grand Opera House Summer Youth Project's celebration of eight years of youth musicals.

9. Belfast LGBT singers unique pop-up 8.15pm to 9pm

Head to Victoria Square to hear the Quire Belfast LGBT singers perform a variety of songs in the city centre.

10. Monster Madness at Cafe Nero on Anne Street 2pm to 7pm

Try out Belfast Stitch and Bitch, create your own Yarn Monster.

11. Circus Promenade at the Big Fish 3pm to 7pm

Head to the Big Fish and take a whacky walk along Belfast's newest waterfront promenade.

12. Parkour and street acrobatics at the Big Fish 3pm to 9pm

Check out Ireland's top Parkour athletes performing live.

13. Medieval Swordsmanship in Hill Street 5pm to 9pm

Head down and catch the Medieval Combat Group as they show off their medieval martial heritage skills in action.

14. Games Night at Riddel's Warehouse 6.30pm to 8pm

Join Irish Video Game Orchestra and experience video game music with a live orchestra.

15. Kizz-Bachata-Salsa open-air social at AC Hotel 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Head along and practice Kizz.Bachata in Belfast - open air dancing to Afro-Latin beats

16. Feck! at the Dirty Onion 5pm to 12am

If you are a Father Ted fan then head to the Dirty Onion for Feck! This is the Dirty Onion Father Ted Extravaganza

17. The Recycled Cinema at Beanbag Cinema 6pm to 9pm

Check out the collection of short films which appropriate, remix and collage together bits of popular media and cinema

18. Circus Bites Cabaret at Belfast Circus School 6pm to 10pm

Head down to Belfast Circus School for some Circus Cabaret fun for all the family.

19. Pro Westling Ulster in St Anne's Square 6.30pm to 10pm

Check out some live Pro Wrestling on the streets of Belfast - it's PWU Live!

20. Under the Hawthorn Tree pop-up performances at The MAC 5pm to 7pm

Enjoy a musical sneak peek of the upcoming family show by Cahoots NI.

21. Jump Show at Buoys Park 5pm to 10pm

Check out Thunder Action Sports put on some BMX displays as part of Culture Night.

22. Fancy dress life drawing at Ulster University 4pm to 8pm

John MELT x Thread & Ink for a unique life drawing experience

23. Get Your Skates On in Writers Square 6pm to 10pm

Join Belfast Roller Derby in Writers Square for some fun and games

24. Broadway to the Silver Screen on Writers Square Stage 9pm to 10pm

Enjoy excerpts from your favourite movies and musicals thanks to Belfast Operatic Company.

25. Homorama: Culture Night Block Party at The Maverick 3pm to 10pm
