Translink is operating a range of special services to get people to Ormeau Park for the Belsonic concerts.

With gates open from 6pm, Metro shuttle bus services will operate every 10 minutes from 5.30pm, picking up in Belfast city centre at Howard Street and Great Victoria Street, (Gt Northern Mall), and return again at 11.15pm.

Normal bus fares will apply on these services while special late night bus and rail services will also operate after the concert.

Metro  Services depart at 11.30pm from a range of city centre locations:

901 Antrim Road, Doagh Road & Shore Road departs from Upper Queen Street

3A Holywood Road departs from Donegall Square West

903 Cregagh Road & Castlereagh Road departs from  Donegall Square West

904 Ormeau Road, Saintfield Road, Newton Park & Cairnshill departs from Howard Street

905 Malone Road & Lisburn Road departs from Donegall Square East

10H Glen Road departs from Wellington Place

907 Shankill Road, Ballygomartin Road, Crumlin Road & Oldpark Road departs from Chichester Street

Standard late evening  Glider  G1 services will operate serving McKinstry Road departing May Street and Dundonald Park & Ride departing Wellington Place.

Normal bus fares apply.

Special trains

Special late trains will depart from Lanyon Place Station at 11.30pm to Coleraine, Larne, Portadown* and Bangor. Special rail fares apply**. 

Tickets must be booked in advance from ticket offices at selected stations - Portadown, Lurgan, Lisburn, Great Victoria Street, Lanyon Place Station, Carrickfergus, Coleraine and Bangor or on board the train.

A Translink spokesman said: "Only customers holding late night concert tickets will be permitted to travel on the additional late night services.

"Annual, monthly and weekly tickets are not valid on the concert trains. No smoking or alcohol is permitted on the trains. Tickets are non-refundable and do not guarantee a seat."
